Leading members of the first-team ranks at Spanish football’s two biggest clubs are set to lock horns in a high-profile friendly clash in 2026.
This comes amid confirmation of the French and Brazilian football federations discussing the terms of a warmup meeting for the World Cup.
The fixture will be dependent on the former booking their spot at next summer’s international showpiece.
In the case of as much, France and Brazil will make the trip to Boston in the USA late in March, to face off in a highly-anticipated clash.

Any such outing would be expected to feature a number of high-profile La Liga stars, chiefly from the squads of Barcelona and Real Madrid.
From the former, Raphinha and Jules Koundé, fitness permitting, would be in line for respective call-ups.
Turning focus to Xabi Alonso’s table-toppers, and all of Vinícius Jr, Rodrygo, Éder Militão, Endrick, Kylian Mbappé, Eduardo Camavinga and Aurélien Tchouaméni would also be in the running to feature.
