#CAAFB Going Deep: Bryant's Mkparu Makes Smooth Transition From London To American Football

Rob Washburn Growing up in London, England, Bryant's Olatunde Mkparu spent his childhood competing in sports like soccer and rugby. However, a tryout with the NFL Academy at the age of 15 opened the doors to a whole new future. He developed quickly in the sport and caught the eye of Bryant head football coach Chris Merritt at a showcase event in Texas. Mkparu joined the Bulldogs' in 2022 and has worked his into the starting lineup at cornerback, where he is having his best season with 29 tackles, two interceptions and five pass breakups.
