West Ham midfielder Lucas Paquetá could return to Flamengo next year, according to Bolavip. The outlet says the Brazilian club plan to spend up to €30m to bring their former player back in 2026.
Flamengo directors are already working on reinforcements for next season. That’s even while the team fight for the Brasileirão and Copa Libertadores titles.
Bolavip claim to have the exclusive information that Paquetá, who joined West Ham after spells at AC Milan and Lyon, wants to leave London. The Hammers, in turn, are presented as being ready to let him go.
The story also says that the club already have a verbal agreement to make his exit easier. Flamengo see the 28-year-old as a cornerstone for 2026 and are ready to make one of the biggest signings in Brazilian football.
The Rio de Janeiro side’s decision to invest so heavily shows their intent to strengthen the squad and chase new trophies, though West Ham’s final stance will decide what happens next.
Serie A of the Brasileirão starts on January 28th.
