Klay Thompson has branded former NBA stars Pat Beverley and Jason Williams 'disgusting and disturbing' after their vile conversation about his girlfriend Megan Thee Stallion.
Amid his on-court struggles for the Dallas Mavericks, Williams suggested that Thompson's new romance with the American rapper could explain why his form has dipped this season on the latest episode of his and Beverley's Hoopin' N Hollering podcast.
'It only takes one p**** to drag a battleship across the desert,' the ex-NBA Champion said. 'That's how powerful it is.'
'Klay Thompson, I ain't sayin' that's what it is,' Williams added. 'But that might be what it is.'
After hearing the offensive sexual remark, Thompson snapped back at both Williams and Beverley over their viral podcast moment, urging the pair to 'do better'.
The Mavericks guard wrote in the comments section of Hoopin' N Hollering's post on Instagram: 'Referring to my GF as a “p***y” is so disgusting and disturbing. Especially from someone who played in the NBA. How would yall feel if I referred to your wives in such a way ? @patbev21.

The Dallas Mavericks star quickly took to social media to slam both Williams and Beverley
'Do better fellas. Very disappointing'.
Klay and Megan officially announced their relationship to the public over the summer and have since been one of America's most identifiable celebrity couples.
The couple first sparked romance rumors when he was spotted in the background of one of her sizzling vacation snaps, before they went Instagram official shortly after.
A recent Instagram post of hers indicating that she and Thompson were moving in together garnered more than two million likes online, and she recently dropped a new single, 'Lover Girl,' which she dedicated to her boyfriend.
But while he's enjoying himself off the court, Thompson's been struggling mightily on the hardwood.
He's currently shooting just 31.4 percent from the field and 26.7 percent from 3-point range, both of which would be career lows if he fails to improve those marks this season.
As a result, head coach Jason Kidd has given Thompson's minutes to veteran combo guard D'Angelo Russell for 3-8 Dallas.

Thompson is now 35 and has previously suffered a torn ACL in his left knee as well as a ruptured right Achilles tendon. And given the fact he's played more than 1,000 regular season and playoff games, his rapid deterioration hasn't been a total surprise.
Last month Megan made her first courtside appearance as an NBA WAG on to cheer on Thompson in preseason for the Mavericks.
As he helped Dallas record a 121-94 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers, the shooting guard was supported at T-Mobile Arena by his famous girlfriend, who had the best seats in the house.
ESPN's Kendrick Perkins said about the Grammy winner, who is from Houston, during the network's live broadcast: 'Ay Klay, those Texas women man... they somethin' else!'
