Ferrara flagship brand Nerds has teased a key product development for its 2026 portfolio, promising a major reveal for its “Big Game” Super Bowl promotions for next year, writes Neill Barston.
As the company noted, with its inaugural spot with Addison Rae in 2024, the brand knew it had to come back with something even bolder.
The upcoming 2026 Super Bowl feature is set to include with new and exciting talent that will form a centrepiece promotion for the brand.
For its previous Big Game feature, In February of this year, the company unveiled a key US screen ad featuring chart-topping singer songwriter Shaboozey, enjoying a bag of Nerds, while striking up a rendition of classic pop song What a Wonderfull World, which attracted strong media attention that has set the standard for its initiatives next year.
Ferrara CMO, Greg Guidotti spoke to Confectionery Production earlier this year at Sweets & Snacks, noting that its Gummy Cluster brand had seen exponential growth during the past year, with no signs that the innovative candy’s popularity is slowing down any time soon.
He commented: “In 2026, Nerds is coming back bigger and bolder, and our whole team is ready to deliver unforgettable moments our fans crave and introduce millions more to the ultimate game day treat. What we have planned for 2026 is next level … and something everyone’s taste buds will be craving!”
