It feels like the Las Vegas Raiders and Dallas Cowboys always play on primetime or a standalone game when they face off, and the two teams will be featured on Monday Night Football in Week 11. We are also close to crunch time in our Silver and Black Pride Pick’em competition, as the end of the regular season is creeping closer!
Holder’s picks: DAL -3.5, DAL ML, Over 50.5
This game could be a race to 30, hence the over pick, and I don’t trust the Raiders’ secondary to slow down Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens. Plus, I have visions of Lamb making Las Vegas pay for passing on him in the draft five years ago. This will be his first game against the Silver and Black since he missed the contest on Thanksgiving in 2021. Additionally, while Dallas’ defense is one of the worst in the league, no one should trust Geno Smith and co. to keep pace with the Cowboys’ high-flying offense.
Moving on to S&BP’s Pick’em competition, below is a look at how our writers finished in Week 10.
Bill is the first writer to join the Century Club this season and is running away with the competition after an 11-3 performance last weekend. That gives him a six-game lead over me after a tough 8-6 week for me. The Jaguars blowing a 29-10 fourth-quarter lead was brutal, and I got burned by thinking Aaron Rodgers wouldn’t look like a 41-year-old quarterback against the Chargers. Meanwhile, Ray also went 8-6 and is pretty much cooked in the competition, sitting 10 picks behind Bill.
People are starting to separate themselves in the community standings. We only have six members who are within three games of first place, while Pick’em Pro and EdgarEdmo8 have at least a two-game advantage over everyone else. Last week was a tough one for Tennessee Raider Fan, going 8-6 to fall out of the tie at the top of the standings. As always, shoutout to our top pickers, and it looks like we have some new names up there.
Best of luck with your picks this week!
