Pablo Hernandez named CD Castellon manager on permanent basis

Leeds legend Hernandez left the club in 2021 to pursue a return to boyhood club CD Castellon as a player, as well as being a shareholder since 2017.

Of course, before we get ahead of ourselves, it’s just nice to see that Hernandez is getting a big opportunity in Spain’s second tier this season. But, given that he’s a legend of the club, there has to be one eye on him being a potential option for us in the future.

Should this season go well for Castellon in La Liga 2, there’s every chance that Hernandez is going to start catching the eye as an exciting young coach.

Leeds surely have to keep that option open.
