Crystal Palace have a difficult decision to make regarding Adam Wharton. Reports have suggested that Manchester United, Liverpool and Real Madrid have the midfielder high up on their list of priorities heading into the January transfer window, a situation that has left the Eagles feeling nervous.
Palace have held talks with Wharton's representatives over a potential new contract amid interest from other clubs, and the England international understands the club are probably the best place for his development at the moment, Fabrizio Romano confirmed on GIVEMESPORT's Market Madness podcast.
However, with Man United circling, it means that Oliver Glasner's side will be weighing up options to replace him. Here, GIVEMESPORT name three potential options to replace the 21-year-old.
Tyler Morton

The Eagles are weighing up a move to sign former Liverpool starlet Tyler Morton, according to French outlet Jeunes Footeux. Morton currently plays for French giants Lyon after leaving Anfield over the summer and has gone on to flourish in Ligue 1.
It's understood that Lyon are in financial difficulty and could therefore be tempted to cash in on the 23-year-old to make a quick profit on the £13.2million spent on him over the summer.
So far this term, Morton has played 11 out of 12 games for the French side, scoring one goal.
Nico Raskin

Palace are weighing up a move to sign Nicolas Rankin from Rangers, according Spanish publication Fichajes. It's suggested that Rangers are open to Raskin’s departure in January, when the midfielder enters the last 18 months of his contract at Ibrox.
The midfielder, praised as ‘phenomenal’, was arguably Rangers’ best player last season, registering five goals and 11 assists in 48 appearances in all competitions. However, he fell out of favour under Russell Martin before becoming a key player once again under Danny Rohl.
Hayden Hackney

Glasner's side could also revisit a move to sign Hayden Hackney in January. Reports suggested that Crystal Palace were keen on the Middlesbrough star over the summer, with the player valued at £20million. That deal never materialised, but after a stellar start to the season, Hackney, who is described as being on 'a different planet', is bound to be a hot property in the New Year.
So far this term, the 23-year-old has made 16 appearances for Boro, scoring three goals and providing two assists under former boss Rob Edwards, who has since joined Wolves as their new head coach.
