The 2025 Wor Jackie Trophy has been presented to… Sean Neave.
A Sport Newcastle dinner at Newcastle Civic Hall on Thursday night, seeing the exciting Newcastle United talent recognised.
The Wor Jackie Trophy honours the late, great former Magpies forward Jackie Milburn and every year a rising NUFC star is presented with it.
The previous winners include the likes of Andy Carroll, Peter Ramage, Freddie Woodman and Adam Armstrong, as well as…Nile Ranger.
This is the year of Sean Neave though, with the 18 year old striker looking set for a great future with Newcastle United.

My thoughts
It doesn’t always follow that young talents push through and make it at the top.
However, Sean Neave looks to have what it takes.
He already has a Carabao Cup winners medal, having been an unused sub at the age of 17, when United lifted the Carabao Cup in March.
What more inspiration does he need as a lifelong Newcastle United fan to help Eddie Howe and the team to repeat that kind of success in the future.
