League action returns to Coach Road on Sunday, where City will play host to AFC Wimbledon.
Abbie Britton has been under no illusions that this season her and the team's focus has been on the league and the FA Cup. A loss last Sunday in the WNL League Cup at home to Bournemouth brought an end to a four-game unbeaten run that had seen the Grecians beat Fulham, Torquay and Billericay as well as a draw against Plymouth Argyle at St James Park.
Looking ahead to this weekend, it's back-to-back game weeks at Coach Road this Sunday as AFC Wimbledon make the trip down from the capital for more WNL action. The Dons currently sit 11th in the league on eight points, their most recent game a 5-0 loss to AFC Bournemouth in the league. Notable threats from the London side include Daisy Leigh Dawn McLachlan, scoring seven goals so far this season.
