The reality of Xabi Alonso’s situation at Real Madrid – report

A surprising rumour emerging from Defensa Central has stirred conversations around Europe, revealing that Juventus have floated an unexpected swap idea to Real Madrid involving two of Turkey’s brightest young prospects.

It is known that the Italian giants are currently trying to secure a contract renewal for Kenan Yildiz, but their attempts have repeatedly fallen short.

With negotiations stalling and the player reportedly open to a future move to Madrid, Juventus are exploring alternatives that would protect their interests.

What is the proposal?

According to reports circulating across various Italian outlets, the Turin-based club is considering putting forward a proposal that would see Yildiz join Real Madrid, but only if Los Blancos agree to part ways with Arda Guler.

The suggestion itself was rather bizarre, and within seconds of hearing it, Madrid’s response was – absolutely not.

As such, Guler is viewed internally as one of the club’s most untouchable assets, a cornerstone for both the present and the future, and Real Madrid have zero intention of entertaining the idea of letting him go.

Sources confirmed that they do not have direct information supporting Juventus’ proposal, but when asked about the possibility, the club discarded it immediately.

Real Madrid admire Yildiz, but…

While they admire Yildiz and acknowledge his enormous talent, there is no urgency to bring him in, particularly if Vinicius Jr. remains at the club next summer.

At this stage, Madrid’s priorities lie elsewhere. The squad is far more focused on strengthening the centre-back position and signing a creative midfielder, two areas that have shown deficiencies in recent seasons.

From Yildiz’s own perspective, a transfer to Real Madrid would be a dream. He admires the club deeply and sees it as a place where he could eventually reach the highest level.

But he is also realistic, as Madrid’s attack is crowded with world-class names, and breaking into such a competitive frontline will be extremely difficult.
