Mbappé returns to Madrid with minor ankle injury

Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappé has left France’s training camp with an injury on his right ankle, one which will force him to miss Les Bleus’ next match against Azerbaijan. While the injury doesn’t appear to be serious, Mbappé will undergo some tests which will determine whether or not he will need to spend some time on the sidelines when Real Madrid return to action after the break. Still, team doctors are optimistic about his availability in Real’s next game.

Eduardo Camavinga has also suffered a minor muscle injury himself, so he also left France’s training camp. Real Madrid’s depth has been tested in recent weeks and it looks like the club’s medical staff will have their hands full in the upcoming days, with coach Xabi Alonso potentially being forced to make some rotations when Los Blancos visit Elche on November 23rd.
