WIMBORNE Town have announced the signing of young [Cherries](http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/cherries/clubnews/?ref=au) keeper Kai Crampton on a one-month youth loan deal.
The keeper will head to the Wyatt Homes Stadium as cover for Cam Plain, with Magpies boss Tim Sills heralding the move as a ‘real coup’.
Crampton joined AFC Bournemouth in January 2025 from Chelsea, where he saw success with their age group sides, while also being capped for England’s U16s and U18s.
Speaking on the move, Crampton told the club website: “I’m buzzing to join the Magpies for the month on loan - I’m really looking forward to the experience!”
Manager Sills added: “It's a real coup to get Kai in to cover Cam while he nurses a shoulder injury.
“I've watched a lot of him and know his qualities so it's important for us to fill such a vital position with someone of this calibre. Huge thanks to AFC Bournemouth for helping this happen.”
