As Rutter backs the American Express Shop Small campaign heading towards Christmas, we asked him about life off the pitch with these questions.

If you opened your own business, what would it be?

Any business? I would be a horse breeder.

Three words to describe Brighton and Hove, the city.

It’s one of the beautiful parts of England. Three words. Sunny? No, maybe not sunny. - I would say seagulls, blue and pier.

Any favourite local places?

I like Shoreham.

And one thing fans would be surprised to learn about you?

I have song on Spotify. Maybe some people know that. It’s Prince2sm. Search that and you will find it.
