Tech Stack: Moca Network, Jump and more…

Our weekly tech round-up from the world of ticketing and associated industries…

Moca Network

Moca Network, a project from Animoca Brands to build a chain-agnostic decentralised digital identity network, has announced a new category within AIR Shop: AIR Shop Tickets. This will offer more than 40 million tickets to concerts, sports games, theatre productions, and live events worldwide. Users can purchase tickets on blockchain rails powered by Spree Finance and BookIt, and earn up to 10% of the value of their purchase as stablecoin-backed rewards.

Jump x Timberwolves

During the Minnesota Timberwolves’ first three home games of the 2025-26 NBA season, the team has sold 159 upgrades as well as ‘first half passes’ for a handful of premium seats at each game. The feat was achieved in partnership with Jump. The ‘half first passes’ allow holders to spend the first half in lower deck seats and then move to a lounge club for the second half.

Jump’s early collaboration with the Timberwolves saw average seats per transaction reach 2.4, while the average per-seat upgrade price hit $34.25 (£26/€29). Some 20% of scanned-in fans browsed upgrades, and inventory for the Timberwolves’ game against the LA Lakers sold out in 30 minutes. This was aided by a promotion on the jumbotron and in-app push notifications.

VBO Tickets

VBO Tickets, a provider of ticketing and event management software, announced that it has surpassed $1bn in ticketing sales processed on its platform. The figure marks a milestone achievement for the 13-year-old company. It supports clients across performing arts centres, museums, colleges, comedy, sports, music and festivals.
