In doing so, she became just the fourth player in the competition’s history to surpass a double century.
Nikita Parris has since joined the ‘200 club’, meaning Coombs now sits alongside the former City forward, Jordan Nobbs, Millie Bright and Gemma Bonner.
So far, 83 of those appearances have come for City, but our midfield maestro has also represented Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool in the top flight.

Joining the Blues in 2019, she is currently our second longest-serving player behind Lauren Hemp and has made a total of 139 appearances during that time.
She’s also won two major honours during that time and also helped England reach the 2023 World Cup final after an excellent 2022/23 campaign at City.
Coombs has stepped up with some important goals as well, including scoring in three different Manchester derbies.
Everyone at City would like to congratulate Laura on reaching 200 WSL appearances.
