Chelsea have sent scouts to watch Yildiz on a number of occasions, however ended up strengthening their attacking areas with other players over the summer.
Estevao Willian, Joao Pedro, Alejandro Garnacho and Jamie Gittens all joined the club, however having plenty of options has not put them off trying to sign more top players.

It was believed Yildiz was keen on staying at Juventus, however The Chelsea Chronicle understands those contract talks have hit a wall.
Graeme Bailey has told us that Chelsea have been informed to keep an eye on the situation.
He said: “Kenan Yildiz is a player that Chelsea have been following for a long time. Their pursuits of the likes of Arda Guler, Nico Paz and Morgan Rogers have garnered more attention but Yildiz is a top no 10 type, who Chelsea greatly admire.
“Juventus are working very hard to convince Yildiz to sign, but it is true that talks have had a wall.
“Juve’s experienced general manager Damien Comolli has worked hard and a new deal, but no agreement has been reached.
“Juve have not walked away but I am told that intermediaries have been quick to update Yildiz’s suitors, including Chelsea, that there is an issue.
“Yildiz is one to keep an eye, if he comes out publicly confirming his contract issues, that will be a clear sign that he is ready to move.”
