On one sideline with New England, they have a franchise quarterback for the long haul in Drake Maye. As for New York, it appears as if they are going to need to draft a quarterback in 2026 after the way Justin Fields performed. He struggled once again for the Jets against the Patriots. Fields completed 15-of-26 passes for 116 yards and one touchdown.

A lot of Jets fans are over the Fields experience at the quarterback position. This is what some New York fans had to say about his performance on Twitter:
Justin Fields is not an NFL QB. Enough. #Jets pic.twitter.com/31NSzQ9iwh

The only reason Justin Fields doesn’t get picked off more often is because his passes aren’t near ANYONE.

That should be Justin Fields’ last snap as the Jets quarterback. Enough.

Justin Fields is a really good dude. In the nicest way possible I never want to watch him play football for the Jets again

Justin Fields might be the worst QB I’ve ever seen in my lifetime

This season with the Jets, he has completed 62.7% of his passes for 1,259 yards, seven touchdowns, and one interception. He has also rushed for 383 yards on 71 carries and four touchdowns, along with averaging 5.4 yards per carry. Fields is only 26 years old, but it appears as if he has reached his ceiling.
New York maybe better off starting Tyrod Taylor in the next game and for the rest of the season. It is obvious that Fields is not the long-term answer for the Jets. They will next play against the Baltimore Ravens (4-5 record) next Sunday here.
