Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim will hope to see his side extend their unbeaten run when they face Everton later this month.
The Red Devils had endured a torrid start to the season under Amorim, but have since followed up three consecutive victories with draws against both Nottingham Forest and Tottenham Hotspur.
That improved run of form has left United seventh in the top flight standings heading into the international break, and Amorim will hope to see his side remain in contention for European qualifying places as the season goes on.
It has also emerged that the Manchester club could be handed a boost in their pursuit of a former Premier League star.
As per Graeme Bailey via United in Focus, Atletico Madrid’s Conor Gallagher considers a potential move to Old Trafford to be an appealing option.

The 25-year-old departed boyhood club Chelsea to join the Spanish side back in the summer 0f 2024 and, although he has made 66 appearances for the La Liga giants, he has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter.
It is claimed that the Englishman believes he should be in contention to be included in Thomas Tuchel’s England squad, something that he is unlikely to be able to achieve without playing more regularly.
United were on the hunt for a new midfielder during the recent summer transfer window, but the club’s owners eventually decided to hold fire and didn’t finalise any moves.
The report suggests that the club remain keen to bolster Amorim’s midfield options, but budgetary restraints in January could make Gallagher a more suitable target than the likes of Crystal Palace star Adam Wharton or Brighton and Hove Albion’s Carlos Baleba.
