The recent 30-13 loss to the Miami Dolphins has not gone down well with Buffalo Bills fans, and some members of the community have called on offensive coordinator Joe Brady to make a change.

The Bills are 6-3 this season after losing to the Dolphins, but have struggled with consistency since their perfect 4-0 start. The lack of a marquee wide receiver has hindered the offense, and things went from bad to worse after tight end Dalton Kincaid suffered a hamstring injury.

Tyreek Hill believes that quarterback Josh Allen now has a "difference maker" after the Bills signed Mecole Hardman. However, in the meantime, some Buffalo fans have called on Brady to stop calling plays from the booth and join the rest of the coaching staff on the sidelines.

The Bills are at risk of missing out on the AFC East title for the first time since 2019, as the New England Patriots have found their groove. After beating the New York Jets on Thursday, the Patriots are 9-2 and have already beaten the Bills this season.

The Amazon Prime broadcast showed Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels speaking regularly to New England quarterback Drake Maye throughout the contest. Bills fans have called on Brady to adopt a similar approach, as he stays in the booth during games.

However, Allen has already dismissed criticism of Brady after fans called out the coordinator. The quarterback and the coach share a close relationship, and Allen's stance on Brady hasn't changed.

"I'm extremely confident," Allen said. "Again, it comes down to the end of the day protecting the football and the 11 guys on the field executing.

"Extremely confident in Joe, love him like a brother. He's been awesome for my career."

When analyzing the shock defeat to Miami, Allen took full responsibility and claimed that the Dolphins wanted it more. "They came ready to play," Allen added. "They wanted it, obviously, a little more than us.

"I gotta be better. Gotta be better in the protection game, in the pass game, in the run game, all of it. It starts with me."

The feeling between Allen and Brady is mutual, and according to the Bills' coordinator, having an open and honest relationship is key. "We speak in truth and honesty, we both hold each other to the same accountability," Brady said of Allen.

"The way that he felt is how I felt, not necessarily for his play, but when things don't go well as an offense, when we have success, it's about them, and when we don't, it's about me, and I can live with that. That's the responsibility as an offensive coordinator.

"They can tell when people are BS-ing with them or not speaking the truth. We have the greatest player; he has the highest standard of himself. I never want to see him in that mood after a game."
