Chelsea are focused on their season right now, but behind the scenes there’s plenty of talk about transfers.
Matt Law was on the London is Blue podcast this week, and he spoke about a couple of them.

With reference to the rumoured real to bring Real Madrid’s struggling youngster Endrick to Chelsea, he came down pretty strongly in denying it.
“I’ve been told to ignore it, so I’m going to ignore the rumour and say with some degree of confidence that, no it won’t happen,” Law said.
“I think he’s joining Lyon on loan anyway, I think that’s well down the line. Obviously they went for Endrick a couple of years ago but ended up with Estevao. Not bad, if you were going to pick between them at the moment. I don’t see Estevao playing with Endrick at Stamford Bridge.”
Well, that puts paid to that.

Rodrygo move ruled out too

Also on the agenda was another Real Madrid player, Rodrygo. Law had a similar take on the rumours that the winger would be coming to the Blues:
“I can’t see any world in which Rodrygo becomes of interest to Chelsea. Salary, position, recent history of how his career has gone. Also the players that Chelsea have invested in in similar positions. Don’t see it at all.”
That matches up with what we thought, and said before.

In other news…
Moises Caicedo did a little international break feature where he talked through some quick fire questions on Chelsea’s fastest, strongest and funniest players, among other things.
Caicedo has been valued at £200m by Pat Nevin, who doesn’t think Chelsea would sell him but knows what it would cost Real Madrid if they were ever to try and persuade the Blues.
