It is no secret that Robert Lewandowski is facing an uncertain future at Barcelona.
The veteran striker is currently in the final season of his contract at Camp Nou, and although there is an option to extend the deal, his age profile and receding form have made many believe he will leave at the end of the season.
There have been rumours of a potential exit in the upcoming January transfer window as well, while some reports suggest he could retire at the end of the season.
Pini Zahavi on Lewandowski’s future at Barcelona
However, in a recent interview with 365scores, Lewandowski’s agent, Pini Zahavi, has squashed all rumours about him possibly leaving in January.
“Everything being said about Lewandowski ‘s possible departure in the winter transfer window is completely false,” he said (h/t Mundo Deportivo).
Zahavi added that the Pole is not thinking of a mid-season exit from Barcelona and remains fully focused on ending the season in Catalonia.

“He feels completely settled in Barcelona and has no intention of opening the door to a mid-season exit,” he said.
Lewandowski has had a pretty slow start to the season, notably falling behind Ferran Torres in the pecking order.
However, the former Dortmund striker recently raised eyebrows with an exceptional performance against Celta Vigo, notably scoring a hat-trick.
“Robert isn’t thinking about leaving right now; he’s completely focused on helping the team and winning titles,” Zahavi added.
The agent further clarified that Lewandowski is not considering retiring at the end of the season either. “That possibility isn’t on the table either. The player remains competitive and will continue his career,” he concluded.
Lewandowski will turn 38 by the start of the next season, but it appears the Pole is more than happy to continue his career, having performed so admirably at the highest level even at this age.
