Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid ruled out vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Nov. 14 (UPI) -- Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid was ruled out for Week 11 because of his right hamstring injury, coach Sean McDermott said Friday.

McDermott made the announcement during a news conference in Orchard Park, N.Y. Kincaid injured a hamstring and was ruled out in the second half of a 30-13 loss to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday in Miami Gardens, Fla. He did not practice this week.

McDermott also said that defensive tackle Phidarian Mathis (shoulder) will not play in Week 11. He expects wide receiver Khalil Shakir, who is dealing with ankle and rib injuries, to play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday in Orchard Park.

The Bills coach said Kincaid and Mathis are on "a week-to-week basis." Shakir was a full participant in Friday's practice session.

Kincaid totaled 29 catches for 448 yards and four scores through his first eight appearances this season. His 448 yards are second-most among Bills pass catchers, trailing only Shakir's 457.

Second-string tight end Dawson Knicks caught 12 passes for 155 yards and a score through nine games this season. He caught three passes for 37 yards in the Bills' loss to the Dolphins.

Buccaneers coach Todd Bowles announced Friday that running back Bucky Irving and Chris Godwin will not play against the Bills. They were both limited in practice this week. Guard Ben Bredeson and linebackers Haason Reddick and Markees Watts were also ruled out.

The Bills (6-3) will host the Buccaneers (6-3) at 1 p.m. EST Sunday at Highmark Stadium.
