Ruben Amorim reportedly made one crucial change to Manchester United's training regime as the club's head coach. United appointed Amorim in November last year after parting company with former manager Erik ten Hag.

Amorim guided United to the Europa League final in his debut season at Old Trafford, with the club now in seventh place in the Premier League standings as the November international break rolls on.

United do not have any European football this season, and were knocked out of the Carabao Cup in the second round by Grimsby Town, meaning the majority of the campaign has been focused on a one-game-a-week schedule.

A report in The Sun has claimed to provide insight into what changes Amorim made on the training ground at Carrington after arriving at United last year.

The report claims that Amorim made United's training sessions "less intense" as they moved closer to a matchday. This change came after some members of the United squad reportedly had issues with the intensity levels in training under Ten Hag's leadership.

United have had a relatively small injury list so far this season, with Lisandro Martinez - who suffered a knee injury back in February - the only long-term absentee.

November 24 will be the date when United return to Premier League action after the international break, where they will host Everton at Old Trafford.
