Eagles' Final Injury Report is Good News for Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley

There might be nothing more important in football than a strong offensive line. The line not only protects the quarterback, but is essential in opening running lanes. That is why the Philadelphia Eagles‘ final injury report presents some massively good news for Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley.

The Eagles have been dealing with injuries on their offensive line, as Landon Dickerson, Cam Jurgens, and Lane Johnson have all been hit with ailments. Though all three were limited to start the week, they have all been upgraded.

In fact, Dickerson, Jurgens, and Johnson have been slated as full participants heading into Week 11 against the Detroit Lions.

Per the final injury report, all three offensive linemen have been removed from the report. This is good news for both Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley.

It is also good news for the team’s ability to run the “tush push,” which they will undoubtedly do.

Johnson appeared on the injury report with an ankle injury and was limited on Wednesday. However, he was upgraded to a full participant on Thursday and Friday, leading to his injury designation being removed.

Dickerson was a limited participant due to a quad injury on Wednesday, but was also upgraded on Thursday and Friday, having his status removed.

Jurgens was more of a question, as he was limited on Wednesday and Thursday with a knee injury. However, he was upgraded on Friday and also had his status removed.

Philadelphia is 7-2 on the season, and is looking to get further away in the NFC East race. With a big win against the Lions, they will cement themselves as an even bigger contender in the conference and the entire NFL.

Barkley has been a bit quiet lately in terms of overall yardage, but having his offensive line back and healthy, he can get back to 100+ yard games on the ground.
