After winning four of their last five Premier League matches, Chelsea finally seem to have found a degree of consistency following a turbulent, stop-start beginning to the season

Chelsea will emerge from the international break sitting third in the Premier League - an impressive position given the chaotic nature of their early-season form. Injuries, red cards and a string of flat performances undermined their opening weeks, but four wins from their last five league games suggest they may finally have turned a corner.
A commanding 3-0 victory over Wolves, coming on the heels of a hard-fought 1-0 win against Tottenham, sent them into the break with real momentum. And with several of their top-four rivals struggling for consistency, the Blues will fancy their chances of holding onto a Champions League spot.
Liam Delap's return from injury has added much-needed depth in attack, while Cole Palmer is also edging closer to full fitness - welcome news for everyone at Chelsea. Their comebacks couldn't be better timed, with major tests against Barcelona and Arsenal looming at the end of the month.
With the January transfer window fast approaching, the club may already have business on its mind. Indeed, Chelsea have been linked with Real Madrid starlet Endrick - formerly a Palmeiras team-mate of Blues prodigy Estevao - as a potential forward addition.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid themselves are showing interest in Moises Caicedo, who is proving increasingly invaluable to Enzo Maresca's team. With that in mind, here are the latest Chelsea-related headlines.
Endrick loan verdict
Chelsea are not expected to make a move for Endrick in the January transfer window, according to The Telegraph. The Brazilian forward has struggled for minutes at the Bernabeu, featuring just once under Xabi Alonso.
He is expected to be allowed out on loan in January to gain regular game time, with Lyon reportedly leading the chase. While Chelsea have been loosely linked, they are not thought to be pursuing the 19-year-old and talk of a Stamford Bridge move is viewed as little more than speculation.
Endrick emerged from Palmeiras' academy with a remarkable reputation, scoring an extraordinary 165 goals in 169 youth appearances - numbers that quickly put him on the radar of Europe's elite clubs.

Real Madrid ultimately won the race for his signature in 2022, securing the highly rated striker in a deal worth up to a reported £53million. Chelsea were among the clubs who pushed hardest, eager to land a talent who had already drawn comparisons to Brazilian icons Ronaldo, Romario and even Pele.
Endrick officially joined Los Blancos after turning 18 in 2024 and while his early displays were promising, his progress coincided with the arrival of Kylian Mbappe. As a result, the teenager was often shunted into an unnatural wide role. He finished the 2024/25 season with seven goals in 37 appearances - just one of them in La Liga.
Chelsea, meanwhile, turned their attention to the next Palmeiras sensation: Estevao. They wrapped up a deal worth up to £50m for the winger last year and, like Endrick, he arrived only after turning 18 in 2025. So far, it appears Chelsea backed the right prodigy.

Caicedo price tag
Moises Caicedo has emerged as a potential target for Real Madrid, but Chelsea legend Pat Nevin believes the Spanish giants would need to put forward at least £200m before the Blues would even entertain the idea.
Caicedo has delivered one standout performance after another this season, with the Ecuadorian making a strong case as the best defensive midfielder in world football right now. Interest from a club of Real Madrid's stature is therefore no surprise - but persuading Chelsea to part ways with their midfield lynchpin could prove near impossible.
Chelsea paid £115m to sign him from Brighton in 2023 and the 24-year-old is tied down to another six years at Stamford Bridge, with an option for a seventh. Financially, any deal would be eye-watering. And with Caicedo having arguably doubled in value since his arrival, a move away from Chelsea looks, for the moment at least, wildly unrealistic.

"Moises Caicedo is capable of playing in any team because he's more than a destructive player, he's an absolute genius defensively," Nevin told Casino Hawks. "Yes, he would interest Real Madrid, but I can't see the numbers working. I'm struggling to see the numbers working.
"Because if he's bought for £100m, or £115m depending on what you hear about the add-ons, how much is he going to have to spend to get him to give Chelsea a viable profit that they don't feel as if they've lost one of their best, if not their best, player?
"You're talking 200 odd million. Unless you're a forward scoring 30, 40 goals a season, that market, I'm not sure about. Even though Enzo Fernandez and Caicedo were both bought for over 100 million and I have to say, it shocked a lot of us, that amount of money spent in that position. But to go further than that, I don't know."
