With the Premier League taking a back seat while the international break takes place, talk is turning to the upcoming January transfer window.
Top flight clubs in England spent in excess of £3 billion on new signings over the summer, smashing the previous combined record from a couple of years ago.
Defending champions Liverpool were the highest spenders, twice breaking the British transfer record; first to sign Florian Wirtz, and then to add Alexander Isak to Arne Slot’s squad.
Chelsea were also once again heavily involved in the market, with Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens among those to arrive at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues have adopted a policy of signing talented youngsters over the past few seasons, and it appears that the London side are now plotting a move for another teenage sensation.
According to Cadena SER via Football Espana, Chelsea have launched a shock move to sign Real Madrid star Endrick.
The 19-year-old joined Real Madrid from Brazilian side Palmeiras last year, arriving in the Spanish capital with a reputation as one of the most promising young talents in world football.

The striker made a relatively strong start to life in Madrid, featuring 37 times for Real last term and scoring five times in six games during an impressive run of form in the Copa del Rey.
This season has been a different story, however, with the teenager having fallen almost completely out of favour since the arrival of Xabi Alonso as head coach.
So far this term, Endick has made just one substitute appearance, and his lack of playing time has seen him heavily linked with a move away from the club in January.
With that in mind, the report claims that Chelsea are attempting to hijack the player’s proposed move to French side Lyon.
Endrick was set to join the Ligue 1 side on loan for the remainder of the current campaign, it is claimed, but Chelsea have now enquired about the player’s availability and he is said to once again be considering his options.
