Kenan Yildiz’s future at Juventus is up in the air, and Fabrizio Romano has told Chelsea when they can potentially make a move for the young star.
Chelsea are always on the lookout for the next big talent to emerge in Europe — Yildiz fits the bill and then some.
The 20-year-old is already a superstar in Turin, and Yildiz has said he wants to stay at Juventus.
But Yildiz was told to rethink his decision by a former teammate, and it looks like he may be taking that advice. A recent exclusive fromThe Chelsea Chronicle revealed that Yildiz’s intermediaries have approached Chelsea after contract negotiations hit a wall.
Now, Romano has chimed in with what he knows about the Turk’s future plans, and when Chelsea could expect progress on a deal.

Fabrizio Romano on Kenan Yildiz links to the Premier League
Since he broke out last season, Yildiz has likely been on the radar of every team with enough cash to fantasize about signing him.
That of course includes Chelsea, who are never too far from the hottest properties in football.
But according to the transfer expert, one possibility can be ruled out.
He says: “What I can tell you is that my information is that the real interest is coming from Premier League. Premier League clubs are following and tracking Kenan Yildiz. Premier League top clubs are keeping a close eye on Yildiz.
“Now it’s too early to mention names. This is not a deal for January at all. So this is going to be eventually a topic for the summer. If Juventus won’t be able to reach an agreement with Kenan over a new contract, this depends.”
We already knew that competition would be stiff for the Turk, but it’s looking like that fight won’t be starting in the winter window.
Kenan Yildiz could be the final piece to Chelsea’s attack
There are gaps in this Chelsea side that need addressing before the Blues can consider themselves one of the favourites for the title every season.
The defence is where most work is needed. Enzo Maresca is too often at the mercy of injuries and suspensions, and doesn’t have an established option to pair with Levi Colwill — at least not one that’s reliable for minutes.
The midfield is sorted. It’s world-class. Cole Palmer, Estevao and Joao Pedro can consider themselves nailed on, too.

But the left wing is an area that is substantially weaker. Jamie Gittens and Alejandro Garnacho are promising talents, but they’re not of the elite level like Yildiz.
Add him to this Chelsea front line and you’ll struggle to find a more dangerous attack in the Premier League.
Patience is needed from Chelsea fans judging by what Romano has heard, but if the opportunity does arise, then the Blues need to throw the kitchen sink at Juventus to sign what could be one of Europe’s top attackers for years to come.
