BBC Sport: PSR development gives Everton a clear view on Iliman Ndiaye situation in January

Everton are preparing for significant interest being shown in Iliman Ndiaye over the coming months, with the Friedkins making their stance clear.

David Moyes entered the international break on a high following the victory on home soil against Fulham.

It has been a mixed start to the season for Everton, who have seen plenty of opportunities missed to put even more points on the board.

One thing that cannot be denied is the performances of star winger Ndiaye.

Michael Keane has hailed Ndiaye for his efforts in training as he aims to become one of the best in the Premier League.

The Senegal international will be in action on Saturday against Brazil and it would not be a surprise if there were representatives from other clubs watching him.

However, The Friedkin Group have made one thing clear ahead of the January transfer window when it comes to their star man.

The Friedkin Group’s stance on selling Everton’s Iliman Ndiaye

Everton News columnist Alan Myers does not expect Ndiaye to leave Everton in January, with more interest expected in the summer.

The form which the Senegal international is showing means it is only natural for some of Europe’s top clubs to be sniffing around.

However, BBC Sport journalist Giulia Bould has claimed that the Friedkins will not be forced into a sale due to their improved PSR stance.

‘Someone who is getting an ‘A’ for performances is Iliman Ndiaye, who is on four goals and one assist. He has been first-class for Everton again this season and is, understandably, attracting attention from clubs across Europe,’ said Bould.

‘But as The Friedkin Group have shown already with Jarrad Branthwaite, they won’t be forced into selling their star man. With PSR no longer an issue, I don’t see the Senegal winger leaving in the new year.’

Everton News understands that Everton are not panicking over Ndiaye’s future and will consider rewarding him with a new deal in the next 12 months.

Football fans saw over the summer that there is little loyalty left in the game, but it has to be remembered that Everton did take a big chance on Ndiaye to bring him back to England.

Everton need to keep Ndiaye and build for success

Pat Nevin thinks Ndiaye could play for Arsenal after seeing him shine in the recent defeat against Manchester City.

This is a player who is clearly capable of playing for the very top sides in Europe.

But the Toffees must do everything they can to keep him around over the coming years as they aim to push on from their takeover last year.

The Friedkins have backed Moyes in the transfer market and more additions in January could really push the Blues in the right direction.

Almost a year on from the takeover, the Friedkins have transformed Everton’s PSR position, which will be key to keeping players like Ndiaye.
