Daniel Munoz has admitted that it would be a dream to play for Manchester United.
Munoz acknowledged that every day he works towards attracting the attention of a team such as Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, United or Real Madrid. Despite conceding he is focused on Crystal Palace, the Colombia international left the door open for a transfer as soon as this winter transfer window.
Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher called Munoz "the best wing-back in the Premier League" earlier this season. The player has now spoken about his future while on international duty.
"First of all, I think there's a lot of talk about one club or another. It would be a dream to play for one of these clubs, whether it's Barcelona, PSG, Real Madrid, or Manchester United," Munoz told AS Colombia.
"I think I'm working towards that. I strive every day to one day attract the attention of one of these clubs, because for me, it's a dream to get there.
"I don't have concrete information that any of these clubs are interested in me. My focus is on Crystal Palace.
"We'll see when the winter transfer window gets closer. Right now, I'm totally focused on these two matches with the national team."
Munoz made similar claims during the summer transfer window. "I want to play for the best teams in the world," he told Win Sports TV, but they haven't spoken to me directly. I dream and work every day to achieve it, and I hope it can happen as soon as possible; I hope it's in this window, but if not, I'm very happy at Crystal Palace."
