Good afternoon and welcome to our live coverage of the Women’s Super League Manchester derby at the Etihad Stadium.

The season might still be young, but there are already a handful of teams, including both Manchester clubs who are separated by just a few points.

Manchester United travel across the city in third place, four points behind City who sit at the top of the table after eight matches.

In their last WSL outing, Manchester United suffered a surprise defeat to Aston Villa at home, but should they lose a second successive league game it would severely dent their title hopes, as they would drop to seven places below Manchester City.

For two players, today will have a special meaning. In the summer transfer window Jess Park moved from Manchester City to United, with Grace Clinton going the other way.

Park struggled to make a significant impact last season, but has flourished since moving across the city.

Clinton on the other hand has been hampered by injury.
