Premier League footballer Phil Foden has sold his stunning home for nearly £3million after having to take a price cut.

The Manchester City star's mansion - with its own cinema, indoor pool and five bathrooms - was on the market for more than six months before it attracted a buyer.

The England midfielder, 25, had moved out of the sprawling property last year after a raucous party led to the police being called.

He put a £3.25million price tag on his detached home in upmarket Prestbury, Cheshire, in April but it initially failed to sell.

He then had to drop the price tag to just over £2.9million. However he has now accepted an offer close to that price.

The house, which was marketed by estate agents Jackson-Stops, has been 'sold subject to contract'.

The detached home, which is down a private road with an electric security gate, also boasts a ground-floor leisure suite.

Neighbours include Slade singer Noddy Holder, TV antiques expert David Dickinson as well as his former Manchester City team-mate Kyle Walker's family who live next door.

Foden had already moved into a more isolated home in the countryside with his family but still within commuting distance of City's training ground in east Manchester.

He shared the home with his childhood sweetheart Rebecca Cooke, 24, and their three children including six-year-old Ronnie.

The couple are believed to have got engaged after she was spotted wearing a large diamond ring on her engagement finger after a romantic New Year trip to Paris.

One neighbour said: 'They are a lovely family and Phil and Rebecca seem devoted parents. It's a shame they moved out as it was nice to see a Premier League footballer walking around.

'I saw them take Ronnie out on a bike he'd been given for Christmas and they seemed just like a young family having fun.

'There have been a couple of loud parties but none of the disruption caused by Walker and his wife with their shouting rows.'

A raucous late-night party at Foden's house in August last year, led to police being called.

One neighbour said it was 'louder than Glastonbury' with booming gangster rap music.

Another dialled 999 over the blaring music after complaints it was so loud it was 'like being in a nightclub'.

Cheshire Police confirmed they were contacted over a noise complaint but officers did not go to the house.

Neighbours said the kids party started around 4pm and went on until nearly midnight.

Snoop Dog's 'Drop It Like It's Hot' and a Queen Latifah hit were heard being blasted from a PA system, as kids screamed and Foden's Doberman guard dog barked.

In March 2022 the England player also sparked noise complaints after having a Mother's Day 'music festival' at home, where he blasted out Whitney Houston hits.

The Premier League winner's next door neighbour for more than two years was his City team-mate Kyle Walker.

However Walker was thrown out by his wife Annie Kilner after it was revealed he had fathered a second child with his former mistress Lauryn Goodman.

Walker now plays Premier League new boys Burnley.

Foden bought his parents a house just half a mile away in the same village but that is now also on the market.

His mother has made the decision to move house just a week after she was on the receiving end of disgusting abuse from Manchester United fans.

Claire Rowlands, 45, became the subject of appalling chants from Red Devils supporters during last season's drab 0-0 Manchester derby at Old Trafford.

The England midfielder was targeted by sections of the home support who abhorrently labelled his mum a 's**g' before his substitution in the 58th minute.

Foden and Rebecca welcomed their first child Ronnie in 2019, followed by their daughter True in 2021.

He briefly left the England camp during Euro 2024 in Germany, to fly home for the birth of his third child.

Foden is the youngest player to win six league titles, and helped Manchester City secure their fourth consecutive Premier League last year.

The lifelong City fan has also won the Champions League after his side beat Inter Milan 1-0 in 2023.
