AJ Brown recently branded the Eagles a 's*** show' in the wake of their most recent game against the Green Bay Packers
Jalen Hurts demonstrated his composure this week with a measured response to questions about AJ Brown's behavior this season. The Philadelphia Eagles may not have impressed with their performances this season, but they remain in strong contention after securing seven victories in their opening nine games, positioning them well to defend their Super Bowl title.
Yet it's those underwhelming displays that have frustrated Brown, with the wide receiver particularly critical of the team's offense under new coordinator Kevin Patullo, having failed to match his production from last season.

Brown has barely surpassed 400 yards this season, and in their latest matchup against the Green Bay Packers, which the Eagles narrowly won 10-7, he managed just two receptions for 13 yards.

These struggles have prompted Brown to share several cryptic posts on social media and make notable statements to reporters. This week, he made a string of comments during a Twitch stream, where he labeled the Eagles a "s--- show" and suggested fantasy owners should drop him.
When questioned about the footage on Wednesday, Brown insisted he was "just having fun with my friend" and declared he would "not apologize" for his actions. "It's not that I was throwing anybody under the bus. I'm literally trying to laugh through this s---," he said.
Hurts was inevitably questioned about his teammate's behavior, a recurring theme in recent weeks, and whether he approved. His response was as diplomatic as possible.

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has spoken like a true leader with his latest comments on AJ Brown
"We've got the Detroit Lions, so I'm going to definitely put a halt to that," Hurts said. "I think the more we drive that, the more of a distraction it becomes and I think ultimately it's about the group."
When asked separately about Brown, he added: "I know you got to ask those questions, and I got a lot of respect for that. My focus always goes back to what the group is doing and what the collective is.
"Obviously, A.J. (Brown) plays a pivotal role in what we've been and what we've done, and we have to continue to grow with that every day.

"I know he's talked about having a growth mindset and embracing that, so we need to have that mentality as we go through this season to go to where we want to go."

While the Eagles are desperately trying to boost their offense, which currently ranks near the bottom in all categories except points, Hurts is doing his best to keep everything under control, particularly when it comes to Brown.
However, seeing their friendship rapidly fade makes this task much harder. In the Week 7 defeat of the Minnesota Vikings, when he surpassed 100 receiving yards, Brown caught everyone's attention with one of his touchdown celebrations, which Eagles fans believe was directed at Hurts.
