Eagles hater Cam Newton accidently proved another Super Bowl is coming to Philly

Get ready, Philadelphia Eagles fans, Cam Newton has something negative to say about the team again. Sad that he can't let go of Jalen Hurts' comment about Newton crying at the Super Bowl, but here we are.

During ESPN's "First Take", Newton and the panel were asked about the "issues" the Eagles are facing off the field after A.J. Brown's comments on a Twitch stream in which he said the Eagles are a "s-show" and fantasy football owners should drop him. Newton seemed like a kid on Christmas, ready to pounce on his opinion about Philadelphia, and brought up the past issues the team has had.

"The Philadelphia Eagles is a walking ticking time bomb of dysfunction. It's all in their resume, all in the thing that they've been trying to do and I've said this before and I will say it again, the Philadelphia Eagles have been masking, putting mascara on, makeup, beguine, sorry Jaylen Brown, but they have been Jaylen Browning themselves so much because they've been winning, finding ways to win. And I get it. But when you start to see remarks like this, encrypted tweets like that, book reading on the sidelines, Nick Sirianni last year checking a fan going into the stands and doing certain things and then calling off the dogs when you have a record-setting running back. A lot of things that are raising flags.

Okay we are able to cover this up because we are winning. So now, when you have a person to speak truth, I do not have an issue with my receiver saying that because he is 100% right. The defense has been carrying the Philadelphia Eagles. But when you have to firepower and the arsenal that the Philadelphia Eagles have, and as a person who wants to make an impact, not a blocking impact, not a run down the middle to just ahhhh just to be the dummy. No, I know what I'm capable of and he's just setting the record straight and telling everyone what should be the expectations in every week."

Cam Newton is back to hating on the Eagles.

“The Philadelphia Eagles is a walking ticking time bomb of dysfunction.”

Cam then goes on to mention three things that happened during last year’s SUPER BOWL winning season. 🤡

Thanks for making the case for us, Cam

Yes, Brown was reading a book on the sidelines. No, Sirianni did not go into the stands like Newton claimed he did, but we'll give them the benefit of the doubt that he misspoke. Granted, Barkley was benched for the last game of the year as Sirianni was protecting his players from injuries.

What results came from that? Oh, that's right, a Super Bowl title coming home to Philly.

Most Eagles fans would prefer to not have these kind of storylines happening during the season, but this is something everyone has gotten used to over the last two years. The team has managed to win games and win a Super Bowl in the process.

The media, and Jalen Hurts/Eagles hater Newton might have a problem with it, but as long as this team continues to win games, it's only an issue for the media. Not the team.
