If you needed any more evidence of the quality currently at Cobham Academy, two Chelsea youngsters have lit up the pitch for England this weekend.
The international break offers more than just watching the England senior team. It offers the chance to see some of football’s brightest young talents don their country’s badge.
On Friday, 16-year-old Mathis Eboue scored a hat-trick in 23 minutes as England’s Under-17 side beat the USA team.
Then on Saturday, another young Blue followed suit, netting three times for the Under-19s against Latvia.

Chelsea fans have labelled Derry as the next big thing, and his performance against Latvia backed up the hype.
It wasn’t much of a contest to speak truthfully, but it’s nonetheless impressive stuff from the 18-year-old.
It’s hopefully not the last starring performance we see from a Chelsea player during the break.
Which Chelsea player are you looking forward to watching the most in the International Break?
Chelsea had to fight for Jesse Derry’s signature
A product of Crystal Palace’s youth system, Derry had plenty of interest this past summer that the Blues had to contend with.
Derry had more goals than games in the Under-18 league last season, attracting plenty of offers for his services.
He almost ended up in Germany, but Chelsea hijacked Bayern Munich’s move to keep him in London.
With Eboue and Derry starring, and Tyrique George putting on a strong performance for England U-21s, the future looks in good hands — not to mention the 16-year-old world-beater Chelsea just signed.
