Antoine Semenyo is reportedly 'frustrated' by suggestions that he's eager to quit Bournemouth. The forward has been in superb form this campaign, netting six times in the Premier League for the Cherries.

With only Erling Haaland and Igor Thiago managing more goals than Semenyo this term, speculation has mounted over his future on the south coast. A host of top-flight giants are believed to be monitoring his situation, with Manchester United, Manchester City, Tottenham and Liverpool all reportedly interested in snapping up his signature.

This has led supporters nationwide to wonder whether Semenyo will still be plying his trade at Bournemouth come the 2026/27 season.

But Sky Sports claim that Semenyo is happy at the Vitality Stadium and feels 'frustrated' by stories suggesting he's requested a transfer.

When pressed by Jamie Redknapp about his future recently, the Ghana international responded: "I don't think about it too much. I try to stay present as much as I can. You see the news all the time, I see it as well, I'm not oblivious, but I try to keep focused.

"I'm enjoying my football here. If I'm not scoring goals, all of that goes away. I try to stay present, do the best I can for the team, score goals and whatever happens in the future happens. When they [his former team-mates] all left [in the summer], there was a lot of interest and back and forth with the club.

"But I knew in my head that the manager's got something up his sleeve this year. How we finished off the season last year was so good and we could continue, especially with the players we've bought in as well.

"I wasn't too sure at the start but we've kicked on like a house on fire. I'm glad I committed to staying here because I'm enjoying every moment."

Following his impressive tally of 13 goals in all competitions last campaign, Semenyo became the subject of transfer speculation linking him with a blockbuster switch to Manchester United during the summer window. Yet no agreement materialised, with the Red Devils instead securing the signature of Bryan Mbeumo.

At the same time, Tottenham - who had also been reportedly tracking Semenyo - moved to acquire Mohammed Kudus from West Ham in a £55million deal.

Despite missing out on Semenyo, United splashed the cash at Old Trafford over the summer, as Ruben Amorim welcomed arrivals including Matheus Cunha, Benjamin Sesko and Senne Lammens along with Mbeumo.

The investment from the hierarchy appears to be bearing fruit.

Currently, the Red Devils occupy seventh position in the Premier League table following five victories, three stalemates and three defeats from their initial 11 fixtures. The club have also been on a winning streak in their last five matches, bagging victories against Liverpool and Sunderland, along with draws against Brighton, Nottingham Forest and Spurs.

Amorim will be hoping that the international break has given his players the chance to further improve, as they prepare to take on Everton on Monday, November 24 when Premier League action resumes.
