New York Giants' star player Darius Slayton, is celebrating his engagement to reigning heptathlon world champion Anna Hall, despite dealing with recent injury woes.
The wide receiver and his now-fiancée shared their joyous news on social media last Friday, leading to a flood of congratulatory messages from his NFL teammates and fans alike.

This happy news comes as a silver lining for Slayton who is currently sidelined due to an injury, ruling him out of this weekend's game against the Green Bay Packers. This will be the Giants' first game without Brian Daboll, who was let go earlier this week following a disappointing start to the season.

Hall revealed their thrilling announcement in a shared Instagram post with the Giants player on Friday, penning: "my whole entire heart. in the exact place we first met i got to say yes to me and you forever."
The post featured multiple snapshots of the elated pair marking their milestone moment, including an image of Slayton kneeling on one knee at the very track where their romance began.

The announcement quickly went viral, flooded with messages from Slayton's Giants teammates who rushed to offer their congratulations within moments of posting.
Giants running back Cam Skattebo kicked off the celebrations, writing, "Congratulations baby ! ! ! ! !", with fellow rookie Jaxson Dart and seasoned quarterback Russell Wilson quickly joining in.
"Mom and Dad," Dart lovingly commented, adding a red heart emoji. "Wow letssss goooo! ! !" Wilson enthusiastically posted.

Slayton subsequently reposted the announcement to his Instagram Story, where he poked fun at his outfit choice in the engagement photos. "I made sure not to wear all white," he quipped.
Slayton and Hall started their romance during 2024 and made their relationship official by year's end, posting photos together on Instagram last November. Now, twelve months on, the couple has chosen to elevate their commitment to the next stage.
