Instead, some nasty supporters turned the parking lot into a boxing ring against each other. The video has since turned viral online, showing Patriots fans scrapping with Patriots fans outside Gillette Stadium.

The fight broke out outside Gillette Stadium in Foxborough after New England’s home win. Several Patriots fans began squaring up in the parking lot while bystanders recorded the scene.

Two fans wearing Patriots gear were the first to clash. In the video, a fan in a Drake Maye No. 10 jersey throws a quick uppercut at another fan wearing a red No. 50 jersey.

The person filming stayed with the action, but this time the crowd didn’t just stand back. A few people stepped in to break things up — including an older man who pulled the fan in the red jersey away.

The fight quickly escalated when the red one punched a random guy for no serious reason. The fan in the Drake Maye jersey got another reason to start the brawl and threw several hard punches at different people.

Thankfully, the man in the red dress had enough durability to avoid getting knocked out despite absorbing so many heavy hits.

Everyone involved in the fight now risks job consequences and could be banned from future events at Gillette Stadium. Security and local police are reviewing the footage to decide whether charges are necessary. So far, no arrests have been announced.

The incident adds to a growing streak of fan violence around the NFL this season. Last week, Bills fans fought each other at Hard Rock Stadium during the Miami game. In Week 4, Buccaneers and Eagles fans traded punches at Raymond James Stadium. The problem keeps getting worse across the league.

NFL Fans Demand Arrests for Parking Lot Brawlers

Many on social media shared their disagreement over the fight. Fans are still trying to digest that Patriots supporters were fighting with their own people after a dominant victory.

One fanwrote, “Arrest them all.”

Anotheradded, “‘Upper Cuts Upper Cuts Upper Cuts!’ Lol cameraman had the right energy.”

A thirdjoked, “Fighting over who loves Drake Maye more.”

“Idiots,” a fourth simplyadded.

The fifthpenned, “Guy threw 900 punches and still couldn’t knock him out. He should be embarrassed being so weak.”

Anotherwrote, “Where are the police? They should always be outside the stadium.”

The Patriots are sitting atop the AFC. They’re legitimate contenders again. Fans should be riding high on that success. But that’s not the look New England wants heading into their next matchup.

Stadium officials are likely to increase the security presence for future home games. In every way, those fans in the video are cooked. Their faces are all over social media. Employers will see it. Family members will see it. Everyone will see it. That’s the price of acting like a fool in the smartphone era.
