Everton fans won’t have much club football to keep an eye on this weekend, with the international break being prevalent and the first-team being away from action – but one star has continued his goalscoring spree on loan.
Everton head into the international break with a period of much-needed rest, having gone unbeaten in their last two Premier League games to steady the ship after a rocky run of form through October and September with a win over Fulham.
Whilst their first-team stars such as Iliman Ndiaye will either be on international duty or on the training ground, other players they’ve loaned out will be plying their trade in the lower leagues.
And Isaac Heath will be one name ringing around David Moyes‘ plans after scoring yet again for Accrington Stanley on Saturday.

Isaac Heath has scored yet again for Accrington Stanley after Everton move
Isaac Heath joined Accrington on transfer deadline day, and has been an ever-present in their side.
Recording his first assist in a surprise win at MK Dons, he then endeared himself to the Stanley crowd with a goal and assist in a 4-0 thrashing of Swindon Town in mid-October.
That was followed by another assist in an enthralling 3-3 draw with Chesterfield last week, making him one of Accrington’s standout performers.

And now that run of form has continued after his strike against Bristol Rovers opened the scoring for John Doolan’s side in a 3-1 win.
Stanley are in the relegation battle, having only collated 14 points from 15 games so far this season prior to the Bristol Rovers visit. But Heath’s goal was vital to their survival hopes and the Lancashire outfit now sit with a healthy three point cushion.
If he can prove to be vital for Stanley, it means the Toffees will have successfully masterminded his move in terms of transfer planning.
Other Everton players have plied their trade in League Two and gone on to be successful.
Notably, Jordan Pickford spent 12 games on loan at Burton Albion before his rise to becoming England’s number one, whilst Jarrad Branthwaite signed for Everton after he started his career at then-League Two outfit Carlisle United.

There is every chance that Heath could do the same if he gets a League One move next season, and excels there – even if it results in a couple of cameo appearances.
His contract is up in the summer of 2027 and so it’s a huge few months for the Leeds-born winger.
But if he can impress and have a great pre-season, there’s no reason David Moyes won’t use him.
