Prediction: Bears 23, Vikings 17
Record: 3-4
The Bears avenge their first loss of the season from their first game together under Head Coach Ben Johnson and his staff. The Bears have steadily improved, looking better and better each week, whereas the Vikings have struggled with second-year QB JJ McCarthy figuring things out in what is essentially his rookie season after missing all of last year with injury. Getting their first win in the division is imperative for a team with playoff aspirations.
X-Factor: Caleb Williams' legs. Last week, QB1 took the team on his back with under a minute to play and led them to a game-winning drive, using his legs to scramble for a rushing TD. The coaches have been harping him to use his legs more due to the large amount of shell and man-to-man defensive coverages they're seeing, and that could be the difference against the Vikings defense and DC Brian Flores, who is very aggressive. With the many exotic looks and blitzes he will send, look for Williams to continue to use his legs as a weapon to counteract that strategy.
