Packers’ defensive star has 4-word message for Eagles

The Packers will be lining up against a familiar foe Monday night.

Last season, Green Bay was swept by the Philadelphia Eagles, in two countries, after falling to Philadelphia in the regular-season opener in Brazil and later inside Lincoln Financial Field on Wild Card Weekend, ending the Packers’ season.

Ahead of Monday night’s showdown to close the book on Week 10 of the 2025 NFL season, Packers cornerback Keisean Nixon had a strong message on what the game represents.

“Clash of the Titans,” Nixon told reporters.

Depending on how the outcomes of Sunday’s games play out, there’s a real chance that the Eagles and Packers will both be leading their respective divisions before kickoff on Monday night at Lambeau Field. This game could also be yet another playoff preview, in the making.

The Packers’ defense could have its hands full against Philadelphia.

Entering Monday night, Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has his full complement of weapons around him, with A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Saquon Barkley, and Dallas Goedert all primed to be one the field coming off Philadelphia’s bye week.

Despite Philadelphia’s explosive vertical attack, Nixon isn’t intimidated, and doesn’t believe his teammates will be either.

“They got guys everywhere like we got guys everywhere,” Nixon told reporters. “Clash of the titans. We seen them twice last year. I think our biggest thing is just getting the win now, however it comes.”

The Packers aren’t just looking to avenge a pair of losses to the Eagles, from last season, but Green Bay also needs this game for playoff positioning and gave itself little margin for error after slipping up against the Carolina Panthers in Week 9.
