CLEVELAND, Ohio – Scribbles in my notebook as the Browns face Baltimore on Sunday:

1. Dillon Gabriel has received a lot of criticism for his failure to throw the ball down field and create some big passing plays. That’s true. But even more discouraging has been his general lack of accuracy. As one top NFL source told me, “Dillon could help himself if he made some layups.”
