Fans attending the Giants-Packers game at MetLife Stadium should prepare for a wet start followed by gusty conditions on Sunday (1:00 p.m. EST).
Expect a cool morning with RealFeel temperatures in the 40s, according to Accuweather. Afternoon conditions will improve as cloud cover breaks up.
By kickoff, skies will become partly sunny with clouds decreasing to 46%. However, blustery winds will dominate, blowing west-northwest at 21 mph with gusts reaching 43 mph.
Temperatures will settle in the low 50s, but the strong winds will make it feel closer to the mid-40s. The evening will bring colder air as temperatures drop through the 40s.
The Giants will be shorthanded, with quarterback Jaxson Dart ruled out due to a concussion. Dart missed practice all week and will not suit up for the matchup.
The Giants will also be without four additional starters:
DL Chauncey Golston (neck injury)
G Evan Neal (hamstring)
WR Darius Slayton (hamstring)
OLB Kayvon Thibodeaux (shoulder)
The injury challenges continue for New York with two players listed as doubtful. Safety Tyler Nubin and defensive lineman Rakeem Nuñez-Roches are unlikely to take the field after sitting out practice throughout the week. Nubin is managing a neck injury, while Nuñez-Roches has a toe ailment.
Two more Giants players carry questionable designations. Linebacker Bobby Okereke, dealing with a shoulder injury, participated in Friday’s practice on a limited basis. Cornerback Paulson Adebo, who has a knee injury, was limited in practice sessions throughout the week.
