Barcelona are reportedly ready to break the bank and offer €25 million-a-year deal to sign Bayern Munich star striker Harry Kane.
Harry Kane seems to be loving life in Germany, as he is scoring goals for fun since joining Bayern Munich. While he still has around 18 months left on his deal, the former Tottenham striker’s future has been a massive talking point for months.
Multiple reports suggest he could look to leave the Bundesliga giants next summer for just €65 million because of the presence of a special clause in his contract. Barcelona seem to be aware of it and they are working hard to bring the English international to Camp Nou.
According to a report from Fichajes, the Catalan giants are ready to break the bank to sign Harry KAne, and they are analysing the special clause with a lot of interest. Not only are they figuring out a way to meet the price tag, Barcelona also seem willing to offer him a massive €25 million-a-year deal to lure him to Spain.
The former Tottenham talisman has only gone from strength to strength since joining Bayern in the summer of 2023. Kane has been involved in 113 matches, and he has contributed towards 137 goals (108 goals, 29 assists).
Given his performances, Bayern Munich are keen on ensuring the England captain continues at the club. The Bavarian giants are willing to offer him a new deal, but interested clubs are making their presence felt as they try to strike a deal for him.
Barcelona are plotting a raid on Bayern Munich for Kane
Barcelona are one of the clubs that are quite serious about their pursuit of Harry Kane. The Blaugrana consider him an ideal replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who could leave the club at the end of the season, with his contract running out.
While Kane is earning massive wages at Bayern, Barcelona are confident about matching those terms. But they will carefully analyse everything before making a move. The England skipper seems keen on making the switch to the Spanish giants, but he has not shown any willingness to leave the German club so far.
The Englishman is enjoying life in Munich, but will have to make a decision soon, as the option to trigger the special clause is only valid until the end of January. After that, Bayern Munich would be free to demand as big a fee as they want.
