Dallas Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer's home is slowly turning into Noah's Ark after the family's latest run-in with wildlife.

The family, who have already suffered an owl visitation and a snake invasion recently, saw their home overtaken by hundreds of wasps over the weekend.

Schottenheimer's wife, Gemmi, shared a video to Instagram that showed countless insects laying on a windowsill.

'Can't make it up... Snakes + an owl + wasps,' she wrote, adding a weary face emoji.

The clip then panned to the ceiling where yet more of the bugs were swarming around as Gemmi played 'The Twilight Zone' theme tune over the top.

She later shared that Little Giant Beekeepers, a local Dallas pest removal service, had come to the rescue.

She revealed that the exterminator managed to kill 'at least 100 with his bare hands,' sharing a photo of the man proudly displaying the dead insects in his palm.

The infestation marked the third time that the family has been plagued by an animal invasion within a matter of months.

On Halloween, Gemmi returned home after receiving a message from her son, Sutton, which read: 'I'm freaking out. A literal hawk size bird just flew into the house... IDK [I don't know] what to do.'

When she made it back, an owl was sitting in the front window. The family then documented their attempts to force it out of their home.

At one point, the owl found itself on a ledge near the ceiling, while a dog barked and a family friend flicked a towel in the bird's direction.

The owl soon took flight across the living room, leaving the family screaming and cowering. A huge thud followed and Gemmi said: 'Oh shoot, he keeps flying into the window!'

The family eventually called animal control and were saved 'Sergeant Kyle,' who trapped the owl in a net and dragged it outside. The ordeal ended after the owl flew into the night sky.

That incident came just weeks after two of Schottenheimer's dogs were bit by snakes.

'I don't know if the owl was looking for the snakes or what was going on,' Schottenheimer said, following the owl visitation.
