Detroit Lions star Jahmyr Gibbs has become one of the best running backs in the NFL, and his girlfriend, Nicole Anderson, has been supporting him throughout the rise.

Gibbs, 23, was selected in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft out of Alabama, but has already exceeded expectations in Detroit. With 10 touchdowns in his rookie year and 16 scores last season, Gibbs shows no signs of slowing down with eight touchdowns in nine games to start 2025.

Although the running back has drawn comparisons to the legendary Barry Sanders, he's also become a popular figure off the field. While being a relatively private man, his posts with Anderson have gained him a lot of fans on social media.

In September, just before the 2025 season began, Gibbs posted a photo dump on Instagram with his girlfriend, highlighting memories from over the summer. Anderson was born in 2001 and is a realtor, model, and influencer.

Anderson grew up in Chicago, and according to her Instagram bio, she is of Korean and Swedish descent. She began working as a realtor in Illinois, but currently works for Crain Homes in Michigan, the official luxury real estate partner of the Lions.

She is also a model, currently signed to The Industry, which operates out of Los Angeles, New York, and Miami. Anderson has also grown a large following on social media, with 169,000 followers on Instagram.

Anderson often posts 'get ready with me' content before attending Lions games, and she is frequently in the crowd to support Gibbs. However, she doesn't always want to lean on his name when pushing out her content.

In an interview with People, Anderson said: "When I do make my videos, I don't say like, 'Get ready with me like for my boyfriend's game.' I don't try and use his name as a 'Follow me.'"

Anderson's content often goes viral, but to the surprise of some fans, she doesn't post as frequently as others in her space. The reason? Anderson wants to do things she enjoys, rather than producing content for the sake of it.

"I didn't really want it to be something where I didn't just enjoy making videos," she added. "I post because I actually enjoy doing it. So that's why I also have my real estate license."

Gibbs and Anderson announced their relationship in October 2023, when they posted photos together while wearing Halloween costumes. However, she posted a video one month after he was selected in the 2023 NFL Draft before deleting it.

"POV: U were planning on staying single then accidentally caught feelings," she wrote in the caption of her deleted video. Gibbs and Anderson have now been together for over two years, and she appears to be enjoying Detroit just as much as the running back.

While Gibbs is starring on the field, Anderson has formed a bond with fellow partners off the field. "I got like super lucky with the group of girls that I'm surrounded with and same with the guys," Anderson said.

"We have a lot of great guys, family men, great leaders on the team — outside of football, just great people in general." Anderson also suggested that the culture at the Lions is significantly different from that of other teams.

"I've had friends on other teams who tell me some wild stories," she added. "We'll just text and be like, 'Who wants to come over tonight and have a girls' night?'"
