BROWNS - RAVENS Matchup Preview
The Browns (2-7) are at a fork in the road of mediocrity and despair while the seat continues to warm for head coach Kevin Stefanski.
Rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel continues to tread water while the losses pile up. He has 869 yards and seven touchdowns with two interceptions. Gabriel is averaging 5.0 yards per play and throwing at a 58.6% clip.
Could this be the game that rookie Shedeur Sanders finally sees NFL regular season action?
Quinshon Judkins has been the lone bright spot on an otherwise desolate offense this season. The bruising rookie has 140 carries for 561 yards and five touchdowns, averaging 4.0 yards per carry. His impact on this matchup could take the pressure off Gabriel.
Rookie tight end Harold Fannin Jr. continues to impress in his own right. He has 42 receptions for 396 yards and two touchdowns.
Jerry Jeudy, who was sixth in the NFL in yards last season, finally awoke for a strong performance last week, tallying 12 receptions for 78 yards and one touchdown. He has 28 receptions for 335 yards and one touchdown, averaging 12.0 yards per reception.
Myles Garrett, the 2023 Defensive Player of the Year, continues another dominant campaign. He is tied for the NFL lead in sacks with 11, to go along with one forced fumble and 24 solo tackles.
Rookie linebacker Carson Schwesinger has a team-high 64 total tackles and 1.5 sacks with one interception. Safety Ronnie Hickman has 27 solo tackles, two interceptions and three pass deflections.
Cleveland stunned the Ravens in Week 8 last season, and will hope to replicate that blueprint. The Browns have won three of the last four meetings in Cleveland and have split the last eight meetings overall.

The Ravens (4-5) arrive at this rivalry matchup on a three-game winning streak as they have jolted themselves back into the AFC North title picture.
In just six games this season, two-time NFL MVP Lamar Jackson has 1,249 yards with 15 touchdowns and one interception, while also conjuring up 216 yards and one score on the ground.
Running back Mark Henry appears to have emerged from a lull, tallying 704 rushing yards with six touchdowns on 148 carries. He averages 4.8 yards per carry.
Zay Flowers leads the receiving corps with 50 receptions for 625 yards and one touchdown, averaging 12.5 yards per reception.
Linebacker Teddye Buchanan guides a blitz-heavy defense. He has a team-high 68 total tackles with one forced fumble. Cornerback Noah Wiggins has 30 solo tackles, two interceptions and six pass deflections. Safety Kyle Hamilton will scout the Browns offense with 26 solo tackles, one forced fumble and four pass deflections.
The Ravens lead the all-time series, 38-15. Baltimore defeated Cleveland in Week 2 with a 41-17 drubbing, back when quarterback Joe Flacco was still at the reins as he made his long-awaited return to Charm City.
