The Pittsburgh Steelers released their list of inactive players for their Week 11 Sunday afternoon game against the Cincinnati Bengals at Acrisure Stadium. As expected, a few players on the home team will miss the Week 11 contest due to injury or illness.
After being ruled out for the Bengals game on the Friday injury report, ILB Cole Holcomb (illness), OLB Alex Highsmith (pectoral), and CB Darius Slay (concussion) are all inactive on Sunday afternoon. This is the third game this season that Holcomb has missed with his illness. As for Highsmith, this will also mark the third game this season that he’s missed due to an injury. Sunday will mark the first game this season that Slay has missed, however.
The Steelers’ Sunday afternoon list of inactive players also includes Three four scratches in DL Brodric Martin-Rhodes, DL Logan Lee, OL Andrus Peat, and QB Will Howard. Howard, however, is designated as the team’s No. 3 emergency quarterback for Sunday so he is in uniform on Sunday.
G Isaac Seumalo (pectoral), who ended the week listed as questionable on the team’s injury report, is active on Sunday after sitting out last week.
The Steelers elevated ILB Mark Robinson and CB D’Shawn Jamison from the team’s practice squad on Saturday and both are active for Sunday’s game against the Bengals. This will mark the game debut of Jamison with the steelers as well.
The Steelers chose to keep CB Cory Trice Jr. (hamstring/knee) on the team’s Reserve/Injured list this week and he is still working within his 21-day open practice windows.
