Chelsea made more money in the 2025 summer transfer window than any Premier League side ever has, and parted ways with some big names in the process.
UEFA sanctions on Chelsea forced them to sell big in order to register new signings such as Joao Pedro and Estevao Willian for the Champions League this season.
The Blues said goodbye to the likes of Noni Madueke, Joao Felix and Nicolas Jackson for big money over the summer, and even by the end of the window they hadn’t sold every player they were hoping to.
Raheem Sterling and Axel Disasi remained in the ‘bomb squad’, however reports are now stating that Disasi could return to first team action in the coming weeks.

Todd Boehly should change mind on selling Tyrique George
Chelsea tried to part ways with Tyrique George late on deadline day, however a move to Fulham fell through after the window had closed.
It has been just over 12 months since the Englishman broke into the first team setup, and in that time he has certainly shown his worth.
This season, he sits on three goals and an assist in all competitions, including finding the net in the Champions League against Ajax.
The youngster has even filled in up front in periods where Liam Delap has been injured, with Joao Pedro’s fitness being spoken about as an issue by Enzo Maresca.
He has also played a starring role for the England U21s when featuring for them this season, scoring a stunning goal against Ireland during this break already.

George still linked with move away from Chelsea
Despite making nine appearances in all competitions, reports are still linking the attacker with a move away from the club.
Crystal Palace have been linked with signing George, who it feels would become a starter for a lot of sides in the Premier League already.
It is likely that Fulham would also show an interest if Chelsea are still willing to part ways with him, but the club should certainly think twice before allowing a Premier League rival to get their hands on him.
At 19 years of age, there are still plenty of improvements to come from George, and this should continue to take place at Stamford Bridge.
