Dominik Szoboszlai and Milos Kerkez have become inseparable ever since they met.
As good as it is having top quality players on a team, this is irrelevant if they do not have a good relationship both on and off the pitch.
For Liverpool, though, they are like a tight-knit family and have built connections that last away from work, with Szoboszlai and Kerkez the perfect example.

The Hungarians were already friends due to knowing each other from the national team, but since they have become teammates at club level too, they have only got closer.
But this has not always been the case as there was, of course, a time where they had never met, although Szoboszlai has admitted what he thought about Kerkez when he first met him.

Milos Kerkez was not shy
Kerkez is still only 22, which is quite scary given how good he might go on to be, especially as he has shown his talent in the past.
But he was a lot younger when he first got the call-up to the national side, with the left-back just 19 when he made his debut.
Coming up from the Under 21s would have been a daunting experience for anyone, but Szoboszlai has admitted that Kerkez did not show any nerves whatsoever.

“So he was in the under 21s I remember and then they sent him up and then everybody was like ‘oh, again a young guy,” he said on Liverpool’s YouTube channel.
“But it was like he’d been there for a couple of years. So he wasn’t shy that’s for sure.”

Kerkez’s debut came during a 1-0 win over Germany, with the Hungarian making 28 appearances for his country ever since.

Of course, everyone has seen during his time at Bournemouth that he has the talent, but it also sounds like he has the personality too.
Not being shy is something almost all footballers will need, especially at a time where they are being questioned by many.
It appears that Kerkez will not let this affect him too much and that he will get stuck in at training to show his worth, something that Arne Slot will love.
Still only 22, the left-back has plenty of time to learn and grow, with his personality traits something that can help him get through this tricky period in his career.
